We do suggest refrigerating Art’s tortillas. We do not use any preservatives, so for maximum shelf life, please refrigerate your tortillas after they are delivered.

Yes! Freezing is a great way to save tortillas when they are approaching the best by date.

To reheat corn tortillas from frozen, take out and place on your countertop for 5-10 minutes to bring to room temperature. Then heat up with high heat fast.

We mark every package of tortillas with a best by date of 3 weeks from the date of manufacture. Don't forget, if you're running close to the best by date the tortillas freeze well.
Unopened sauces have a two year shelf life, They should be refrigerated after opening and used within three weeks of opening.
Art’s Chips are marked with a best by date of 3 months from the date of manufacture. After opening, be sure to firmly reseal for freshness.

The key to heating corn tortillas is to heat them fast over high heat. We recommend a pre heated cast iron pan but any hot cooking surface will do. Serve immediately or you can place in a tortillero to keep warm.
If you’re feeding a crowd, we suggest quickly heating the tortillas and then placing them in a foil wrap in 3s. This helps the tortillas stay soft and warm.

Art’s tortillas are shipped in an insulated box with ice packs to maintain quality and freshness. Be sure to refrigerate upon arrival. If you won’t use them by the best by date, our tortillas freeze well!

If there is a mid-week holiday that will delay shipping or if excessive heat is in the forecast that could compromise the quality of your order, we may hold your order for a week to ensure freshness. Yes we do. During the ordering process the only shipping option available is UPS. Since UPS cannot deliver to these locations we'll automatically ship it through USPS. Send us an email at info@artsmolinoandmarket.com if you have any questions.
